Lambeth Town Hall and Civic Centre WINS the Constructing Excellence SECBE – Preservation and Rejuvenation Award, the RIBA London Award, the Office Agents Society Development Award – Best New Build Office and is shortlisted for 5 awards.

Westminster City Council completes the £70M refurbishment of its 20 storey Town Hall. Liz Pickard Client Technical Advisor.
2018
Lambeth Council moves into its new Civic Centre & Town Hall reducing the organisation’s carbon footprint by two-thirds and saving the taxpayer £4.5m a year. Consarc was appointed as client advisers, workplace strategists and interior designers.

‘One Angel Square’ WINS the RIBA East Midlands Award 2018 and the RICS award for Best Commercial Building in the East Midlands Region. It is also shortlisted for the BCO Awards.
2017
Northamptonshire County Council opens new £40M headquarters building for over 2300 public sector staff. Consarc was lead technical adviser from 2012 – 2017; inception to completion.
2015
Headquarters for the Defra department, AHDB, designed by Consarc (architecture and tenant fit-out) WINS Constructing Excellence Award and is highly commended at the BCO Awards.
2013
Consarc’s design for the new modern extension to the Grade 1 listed Robert Adam Oriental Club in Westminster is now complete, revitalising this important historic building.
2012
Brent Civic Centre opens its doors to the public. Shortlisted for the Sterling Prize, best of the best at the BCO Awards and BREEAM Outstanding, Consarc were lead client advisers from 2007 to 2012. Services included brief writing, client consultancy, competition judges and architectural advice throughout.

The icon WINS the Best Commercial Office category at the BCO Awards and the Green Dot award for Sustainability innovation in a building.

Consarc gain planning and listed building approval for the conversion and updating of over 263 bedrooms at the Listed Savoy Hotel for Fairmont Hotels. Fairmont go on to redevelop the Savoy extensively.

Liz Pickard, Director of Consarc with the team is selected as one of the Best Emerging European Architects, 40 under 40 list. Consarc are shortlisted for the AJ Young Architect of the Year Award.
2008
Consarc WIN International RIBA Architectural Competition to create a highly sustainable, low carbon office and learning facility – the iCon innovation centre.

Our design for Langdon Park DLR station, opened that year, WINS Best Regeneration Project in the UK at the British Construction Industry Awards.Shortlisted for the Prime Ministers Best Public Building completed that year.

The Ellington Hotel, a complex new build in central Leeds conservation area, opens and WINS Best Altered Building Architectural Award.

Ipswich Borough Council, WINS the British Council for Offices Best Corporate Office Award.

We move to co-working space at Canalside Studios, St Pancras, developed by Cartwright Pickard.

The Lowry Hotel, the first 5 star hotel in Manchester, designed by Consarc for Rocco Forte Hotels, opens its doors to the public. Wins several regional and national design and tourism awards.
1998
Our show garden at Chelsea Flower Show, designed with Charles Funke, WINS a Gold Medal.
1994
Liz Pickard undertakes management buy-out from the wider Consarc Design Group. Consarc Architects registered as a Limited Company, based in London.
1991
The Carlton Club, conservative HQ and Grade 1 listed building, is bombed by the IRA. Consarc restore and adapt the building. It WINS an RICS Award for Restoration on completion.
1980's
Savoy relationship started. Liz Pickard joins the practice.
1960’s
Partnership is rebranded as Consarc –abb. ‘Consulting Architects’ to reflect the multi-disciplinary collaborative ethos of the practice. A modern team philosophy.
